Finding Your Joy!

Some of my greatest joy comes from my art and It is an never ending joy as first there is the love of painting and then the love of sharing with like minded people! There is something magical about being on the same wavelength with someone else about something that means a lot to you.

I do believe that things that brings you joy should be explored and embraced whether it be sports, reading, writing, the arts or any number of things! It doesn’t really matter what your passion is, what matters is that you find the time for that passion! That is what this life should be about! Joy!  We all have to eat, live, and pay bills, but there is still room for your joy! You just have to make the time!

Following my intuition, I found myself painting and from this came ownership in a business that also brings me joy. It isn’t always easy finding the balance. Like you I am often a vegetable on days when I do not work, but most free time I spend on my art! If I am not in my studio I am thinking about my art, dreaming of my art or missing my art! See once you open yourself to your joy, it then becomes an addiction of sorts! However, this is the best kind of addiction! It is a soul addiction! Feed your soul and the rest of life will work out!

One thing you can be sure of is this, if your soul craves, yearns, pines and cries for something, then it is necessary to your own journey in this life. You have to find a way to do it!
The most unhappy people in the world are ones that stifle their soul yearnings, because our souls know what is needed to make us happy. It isn’t money or fame and it can’t be bought or sold. Your soul addiction is something that only you can truly name and is what will bring you some of your greatest joy in life.

So what is your soul addiction? Ask yourself, listen to the answer, then go find your joy!
